Checking ordered hearing aids

Checking hearing aids

The 'Checked' status is optional. It indicates that a hearing aid/item is verified to be working and is ready to be delivered to the patient.
  1. Locate a 'Received' hearing aid or item by doing one of the following:

    • On the Patient browser tab, open the patient's file, and click the patient's Hearing aids tab.
    • Click ORDERS on the main toolbar.
  2. Click on an aid or item in 'Received' status.
  3. Check the hearing aid or item by right-clicking the aid and selecting Check aid.

    The checked item appear in the patient's Hearing aids tab and within the Orders screen, found by clicking the ORDERS button on the main toolbar. A journal entry records the items have been checked.

Unchecking hearing aids

  1. Locate a 'Checked' hearing aid or item by doing one of the following:
    • On the Patient browser tab, open the patient's file, and click the patient's Hearing aids tab.
    • Click ORDERS on the main toolbar.
  2. Click on an aid or item in 'Checked' status.
  3. Uncheck the aid or item by right-clicking and selecting Uncheck aid.

    The unchecked aid/item appear back in 'Received' status in the patient's Hearing aids tab and within the Orders screen, found by clicking the ORDERS button on the main toolbar. A journal entry records the aids have been received.
