Generating quotes

Overview

Blueprint OMS provides the ability to generate quotes for patients who haven't committed to transactions yet. To do this, you can take all the steps required to log the transaction, except at the last step, instead of clicking COMPLETE SALE or SAVE ORDER, click the CREATE QUOTES button directly to the right.

If multiple quote templates are active in the system, a dialog will appear prompting you to select a quote template. The quote will appear in a new tab, where you can choose to print or email it. If there is cost allocation to any insurers, the insurer version(s) of the quote will populate in (a) new tab(s) as well.

    2. Following the process for creating an order (new or repair or L&D order) for hearing aids or orderable items
    3. Editing an open order, which is done either by
      1. Double-clicking on an entry in the Aid orders screen, accessible by clicking the Orders button in the main toolbar. Click Next until you get to the Allocate costs screen.
      2. In the patient's Hearing aids tab, right-clicking on an item on order and selecting Order details. Click Next until you get to the Allocate costs screen.
  2. Optionally, modify the note for the quote. Quote templates are set up with default notes, but default notes can be overridden at the Allocate costs screen. To do this, double click into the Notes field near the bottom of the screen. The Edit notes dialog will appear; in it, enter and save your custom note.
  3. Click the CREATE QUOTES button. If multiple quote templates are active in the system, a dialog will prompt you to select the desired quote template.

  4. The quote will appear in a new tab, where you can choose to print it or email it. If there is cost allocation to any insurers, the insurer version(s) of the quote will populate in (a) new tab(s) as well.
