Checking orderable items

Checking orderable items

The 'Checked' status is optional. It indicates that an item is verified to be working and is ready to be delivered to the patient.

  1. Locate a 'Received' orderable item by doing one of the following:

    • On the Patient browser tab, open the patient's file, and click the patient's Hearing aids tab.
    • Click ORDERS on the main toolbar.
  2. Click on an aid in 'Received' status.
  3. Check the orderable item by right-clicking on the item and selecting Check item.

The checked items appear in the patient's Hearing aids tab and within the Aid orders screen, found by clicking the ORDERS button on the main toolbar. A journal entry records the items have been checked.

Unchecking orderable items

  1. Locate a 'Checked' orderable item by doing one of the following:
    • On the Patient browser tab, open the patient's file, and click the patient's Hearing aids tab.
    • Click ORDERS on the main toolbar.
  2. Click on an item in 'Checked' status.
  3. Uncheck the item by right-clicking on the item and selecting Uncheck item.

The unchecked items appear back in 'Received' status in the patient's Hearing aids tab and within the Aid orders screen, found by clicking the ORDERS button on the main toolbar. A journal entry records the items have been received.
