Obtaining unique iCals

Note
The unique iCal URLs are found in the Setup menu in Blueprint.

Click Setup on the main toolbar.
Double-click User administration, or click the icon to the left of User administration, to expand the menu.
Click Users.
Right-click a desired name in the Users list and select Edit details.
Tip
Optionally, click on a name in the Users list, click
Status
title Edit
, and select Edit details.
Click the iCal URL and press Ctrl + C on the keyboard to copy the address.
Press Ctrl + V on the keyboard to paste.

Downloading instructions

Google Calendar no longer supports https URLs. A workaround is to convert the https URL, found within Blueprint, to a regular http URL, as shown in step 1 below.

First, add the subscription to your Google Calendar account:

Go to https://bitly.com and convert the iCal URL.
Log into your Gmail account, and access your Google calendar.
In Google Calendar, click the drop-down menu next to Other Calendars, and click Add by URL.
Enter the converted URL from step 1 above.
Click Add Calendar.
Google will begin to synchronize the calendar, and it will appear on the screen.
Optionally, click the drop-down menu next to the calendar listed under Other Calendars, and click Calendar Settings.
Change the Calendar Name (e.g. Steven McDonald), and click Save.

Second, verify that the new calendar is synchronized to your device:

Open the Calendar app on your phone/tablet.
Click the menu button, click Calendars to display, and do one of the following:
- Click Calendars to sync, check the box next to the newly added calendar, and click Ok.
- Click Calendars, click Display, check the box next to the newly added calendar, and click Done.
View the calendar to see appointments.
