Blueprint AI (Beta) v4.8.0
This update introduces an innovative AI-powered beta feature designed to significantly enhance the patient journal note-taking process. By integrating advanced artificial intelligence, this update simplifies documentation, increases accuracy, and saves valuable time for audiologists and clinic staff. With the addition of speech-to-text functionality, clinicians can dictate their observations, and the AI will transcribe and structure the notes. This seamless integration reduces the need for typing and speeds up the note-taking process during and after patient visits. This new feature is designed to streamline your practice’s documentation process, improve the quality of patient records, and ultimately enhance patient care.
How do I enable Blueprint AI?
Only users with the owner role can enable/disable this feature.
Navigate to Setup > Blueprint AI (Beta) > click Enable Blueprint AI
Only users with the “View Blueprint AI” privilege can access this feature.
As part of the Beta release, we’re offering this feature at no additional cost! However, please note that there may be usage fees for this tool as it evolves and becomes more advanced in the future.
Where can I find Blueprint AI?
This feature is accessible in many locations throughout the software.

Global | In the bottom right-hand corner of Blueprint OMS, next to chat. Using the global option will allow you to copy text from an outside source and paste into the Blueprint AI panel and vice versa. You will not be able to save rewrites, summaries, or replies. |
Audiology reports | Double-click the advanced editing options on the right-hand panel. Only rewrite is available. More info here. |
Journal tab | Click new entry or edit entry to use with journal notes. More info here. You can also summarize the journal tab based on entries from the last 7 days, last 30 days, or all entries.  |
Messaging center & patient Messaging tab
| Click the Messaging center in the left-hand toolbar -OR- the patient Messaging tab. More information on Interactive SMS here.  |
Chat | Start or respond to a conversation. More info here.  |
Creating/Editing invoice notes | While editing an invoice, double-click the notes section at the bottom of the screen. More info here.   |
Creating/Editing text snippets | Click Create new or edit details to use with text snippets. Only rewrite is available. More info here.  |
How do I use Blueprint AI?
Among the options displayed above, certain icons will be available for selection. Rewrite & Summarize is accessible only to users who have been granted permission to use Blueprint AI. The Insert Name, Date and Time, and Dictation feature are available to all users by default.
