| Because Google Calendar will only sync the Blueprint OMS schedule intermittently, Blueprint Solutions recommends the One Calendar app (available in the Android Play Store) for synchronizing Blueprint calendars to Android phones. One Calendar synchronizes at predictable and configurable intervals to ensure that the schedule on your Android phone is always up-to-date. |
Follow these steps after installing One Calendar :
- Open One Calendar.
- Click the menu in the upper left-hand corner of your phone.
- Click on Accounts, and select the option Add account.
4. Select the bottom Account type- WebCal:
5. Paste the iCal URL and click Connect. You can find more information on the iCal URL here.
6. Click on Done. You should now be able to view your calendar from within the application.

Note: Some android versions have shown issues when editing an existing calendar. A workaround is to re-create a new calendar with the preferred settings and then delete the existing calendar. |
Android Tablets
First, add the subscription to your Google Calendar account: Log into your Gmail account, and access your Google calendar.
- In Google Calendar, click the drop-down menu next to Other Calendars, and click Add by URL.
- Enter the iCal URL. You can find more information on the iCal URL here.
- Click Add Calendar.
- Google will begin to synchronize the calendar, and it will appear on the screen.
- Optionally, click the drop-down menu next to the calendar listed under Other Calendars, and click Calendar Settings.
- Change the Calendar Name (e.g. Steven McDonald), and click Save.
- Go to https://calendar.google.com/calendar/syncselect , check the box next to the new Blueprint calendar and click Save.
Second, verify that the new calendar is synchronized to your device:
- Open the Calendar app on your phone/tablet.
- Click the menu button, click Calendars to display, and do one of the following:
- Click Calendars to sync, check the box next to the newly added calendar, and click Ok.
- Click Calendars, click Display, check the box next to the newly added calendar, and click Done.
- View the calendar to see appointments.
