Google Calendar no longer supports https URLs. A workaround is to convert the https URL, found within Blueprint, to a regular http URL, as shown in step 1 below. |
First, add the subscription to your Google Calendar account:
Go to https://bitly.com and convert the iCal URL. You You can find more information on regarding the iCal URL here.
Log into your Gmail account, and access your Google calendar.
- In Google Calendar, click the drop-down menu next to Other Calendars, and click Add by URL.
- Enter the converted URL from step 1 above.
- Click Add Calendar.
- Google will begin to synchronize the calendar, and it will appear on the screen.
- Optionally, click the drop-down menu next to the calendar listed under Other Calendars, and click Calendar Settings.
- Change the Calendar Name (e.g. Steven McDonald), and click Save.
Second, verify that the new calendar is synchronized to your device:
- Open the Calendar app on your phone/tablet.
- Click the menu button, click Calendars to display, and do one of the following:
- Click Calendars to sync, check the box next to the newly added calendar , and click Ok.
- Click Calendars, click Display, check the box next to the newly added calendar , and click Done.
- View the calendar to see appointments.
